What is Lifespan Integration Therapy?

This approach will gently take you through an exploration of the timeline of your life, similar to viewing your life like a movie. Throughout this process, you connect your adult self to your child self and develop a more coherent understanding of your life experiences.

Making connections to previous experiences heals you on a deep neural level and allows you to reset your nervous system around painful experiences. If you have heard of inner child work, this is it! You will befriend and comfort your inner child to allow him/her to be present yet not run your adult world.

How does Lifespan Integration Therapy Work?

In your first session you and your therapist will explore the pain points that may be running in the background of your world, subconsciously impacting the way you think, act, and feel. Once a trigger point is established, you will be asked to write 2-3 memories from each year of your life to bring to the next session. This may seem daunting, but rest assured there are ways to pull memories andd perfectionism is not the goal here.

From here, you will have multiple sessions where you will be guided through your life as if it was a movie, touching on each memory point. Your neural system will be re-wired around the established trigger point or traumatizing event.

After a handful of Lifespan Integration Therapy sessions clients report feeling relieved of the pain they have held on previous life events. They also report responding in more age appropriate ways to triggering moments in their lives.

Who should do Lifespan Integration Therapy?

You are a good candidate for lifespan integration therapy if you feel stuck in your emotional or behavioural patterns. If you feel that past life experiences have shaped how to respond to your current life there may be some trauma processing and neural processing to be completed.
